I have known Suzanne for the past one and a half years. My husband died in a motorcycle accident in June 2011. As can be expected, it was the most devastating thing that hit our family. He was healthy and 48 years ago. And in a second, he was gone!

I had no clue what to do. Luckily, Suzanne rushed (literally) to my rescue in my dazed state. She went through all my husband's paperwork; we found out that he had not written a proper will and estate management. The first thing she did was to set about doing that. She sent the papers and forms to all pertinent people and set my accounts straight with the people my husband was dealing with.

As I was the only other parent for the children (who were 14, 15, and 16 years of age), she encouraged me to write my will in case anything happened to me. I did that immediately. She helped with the wording and gave her advice about pertinent things to do, especially for the kids.

In addition, my 16 year old son was suffering from a very bad form of bone cancer and we knew he would not live too long. She made a Trust for him; when he turned 18 years of age, she made him write a will, too, to make sure that everything of his was properly taken care of.

Suzanne is just a beautiful person, inside and out. She is very professional, knows her stuff better than most lawyers, gets things done in a timely manner, is very good with follow-up. She has nerves of steel when dealing with people who may not always be polite or who tend to be aggressive. She is an intellectual who has helped me deal with a wide variety of issues--from making the wills, making trusts, helping with the finances. You name it, she is there. On top of that, she has a super heart. She does everything with real love and you can see the care she exudes.

I am so grateful to have Suzanne as my lawyer and as my friend. Her help is invaluable.

Suzanne handled the preparation and filing of all the estate documents for me, my husband, and our daughter. Not exactly warm and cozy, felt judged. Competent. Fair, she could have disregarded my current financial situation and "sold" me the most expensive trust/will package but she didn't.

Suzanne Simpson is the best lawyer I have ever met. She helped me in a most difficult probate case made extremely complex by incompetence of involved parties. She handled the case with efficiency, integrity, know how and compassion making the best out of a very complicated situation. Ms. Simpson was our attorney helping us form a will and all the related documents that are important when you have a child -- and even when you don't. What can I say? She has it in all areas. First and foremost, she is an honest person and I always feel she is focused on giving us the best advice. She is highly knowledgeable and continues to go to seminars and keep up with the latest changes in the law -- of which there are many! Her service is impeccable: prompt, calling back ASAP, polite. And in all the while I have known her, she has never made any reference to any client. So I know my own info will be kept private. And her compassion is true, something you need and want when dealing with life and death issues.

Suzanne was easy to work with and very knowledgable. She explained advantages and disadvantages of optional language and was very helpful in developing our wills, health directives and powers of attorney.

My husband and I were referred by our financial advisor to Simpson Law and from the first phone call to Suzanne Simpson we were handled in a professional manner-she clearly explained all of our options, the laws involved, we made our decisions and within the time frame that we requested. High Marks---we plan on recommending Simpson Law to all of our business partners, family and firends as well.

She does what it takes to get the job done. Suzanne is caring and compassionate which is helpful during the estate planning process which can be very emotional in some cases. She is a pleasure to work with and her fees are very reasonable, unlike many other attorneys.

When my husband and I finally decided to review our will (it had been at least 14 years) we quickly realized that we were not as prepared as we thought. Also, many of our ideas and wishes had changed over those years.
Needless to say we also did not want to take the time to discuss our demise. Time is something of a premium and we both work full time. So, Suzanne's ability to make the process easier, in our own home and convenient was a huge plus. Of course understanding all of the decisions to make them right for us was another concern. Each decision we needed to make was fully explained in words that we could understand. Lastly, I completely trusted that we were getting the advise of someone who truly cared to be sure we each (my husband and I have different wishes in some cases) have things as we would like. This planning is a necessary and important process. I did not want any of my family to be put in a position of guessing what would be best for me if ever needed. I would strongly recommend Suzanne Simpson.
