About Me

Hana Rose Kondratyuk is a member of the Firm’s Real
Estate and Banking Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice on community
association law including the legal counseling of condominium and homeowners associations, commercial
and residential real estate transactions, and all aspects of estate planning and administration.

            Prior to
joining O’Malley, Miles, Nylen & Gilmore, P.A., Mrs. Kondratyuk had the
unique distinction of clerking for Mr. Michael Mannes, who is regarded as one
of the foremost authorities on homeowner association and condominium law.  In that position, Mrs. Kondratyuk gained
experience enforcing covenants, examining and interpreting various association
creation documents, drafting declarations, bylaws, amendments, and rules, as
well as in collecting assessments and preparing foreclosure actions.  As an attorney, Mrs. Kondratyuk has assisted
her community association clients by examining
their condominium and homeowners association documents, implementing and
overseeing association assessment collection, securing liens for unpaid
assessments, and guiding her clients through the complex foreclosure process.

            Mrs.
Kondratyuk has recently been awarded membership to the Heuisler Honor Society
after graduating magna cum laude from
the University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in Real
Estate.  While in law school, Mrs.
Kondratyuk served as the Articles Editor on the School of Law’s
Journal of Environmental Law and, in
2007, the Journal of Environmental Law published
her article entitled Potomac Riverkeeper Inc. v. Nat’l Capital
Skeet & Trap Club, Inc.
  Mrs.
Kondratyuk received numerous awards in law school, including the Highest Grades
in Maryland Civil Procedure, Environmental Law, Commercial Law, and Sales and
Leases.  Mrs. Kondratyuk received her B.A., suma cum laude, from Towson
University.

Mrs. Kondratyuk is a member of the
Jewish National Foundation and is active in the Maryland State Bar Association
where she is a member of the Young Lawyers Section.  Mrs. Kondratyuk is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Court of Maryland.
