I was charged with assault and the evidence was against me . There were four witnesses testifying against me. I was terrified i was going to jail and loose my job. I contacted Thomas Soldan and told him my side of the story Mr Soldan assured me that he could defend me and win . Mr Soldan was the best Lawyer i have ever seen and i would have taken the plea bargain to reduce it from a felony and keep my job but Mr Soldan said no fight this i got this . We went into court and he took charge of the room he questioned the witnesses and exposed the truth i never saw a lawyer fight like that before he really knew his stuff and he made the prosecutor look like a rookie he schooled that guy . He did such a great job defending me that I didn't even have to testify . I didn't even know he won the case it happened so fast he had to tell me i was free to go we won . I will always recommend Mr Soldan and i will hire him if i ever get in trouble again Thank you Mr Soldan .
Mr. Thomas Soldan provided expert legal representation to one of our family members who was issued a reckless driving ticket. Thomas communicated with us every step of the way and he was very thorough in his instructions on what documents we should provide him. We are very pleased with the outcome and we would definitely recommend Thomas Soldan to anyone who is in a similar situation.
When I initially got my reckless, it was a hail storm of irony and fear. I was running late to work on an empty road in a borrowed car, but if convicted of a reckless charge I would not have been able to continue my job. I'm just a student who's trying to figure his way out through his short comings. Almost instantly after that incident I reduced my speed and learned to budget time for travel accordingly. Although this sounds really cheesy, it was true.
The matter of my court date however, was still at large. No matter how much I changed my ways, I still had to face the consequences for the actions I had done, however situationally minor/major they were. Thanks to Mr. Soldan, my reckless charge was dropped to a mere speeding, and a point reduction. I've been able to retain my job and continue my studies. Thank You Mr Soldan for everything you've done, and I promise I will slow down.
I got a reckless driving ticket and contacted Mr Soldan after reading numerous good reviews online. The officer that ticketed me refused to negotiate so Thomas and I talked and he suggested we ask for an opportunity to do community service for a reduced sentence. The judge agreed. I completed my community service and my ticket was reduced to a Failure to Obey Highway sign. I am very happy with his services.
I hired Mr. Soldan to defend my charge for violating Virginia Code Section 18.2-346. From day 1, he had a very clear idea and strategy on how to tackle my case. He didn't sugar coat it, make false promises - just presented the case as is, and told me frankly the possible outcome and my options. I am going to give detailed overcome of my case, since it was very unique.
To Start with: I am in US on a Non-Immigrant Visa. Given how Virginia Law is about Section 18.2-346; In spite of Mr. Soldan's excellent argument and presentation, I was found guilty at the General District Court. I wasn't pleased with this charge Under the advisement of Mr. Soldan, I ended up appealing this charge at the Circuit Court. The court, Fingerprinted me right after the Guilty verdict decision. :(
Just around the Circuit Court Trial date, I had to travel abroad for Work. Mr. Soldan was very understanding of my situation and filed a motion to continue. On my way back to the US, I had to get my US VISA renewed - the US Embassy rightfully freaked out about finding my FingerPrints in the NCIC Database. They put my Visa Application on hold, until they could verify the facts and Court Documents. Mr. Soldan was very prompt and quick, in getting these documents to me, on time, allowing me to Submit them to the Embassy on time.
Unfortunately, I could not be physically be present in the Court on my trial date, since I am stuck abroad waiting on my VISA. I had two options - accept Guilt Plea the Prosecutor was offering or file for a Motion to continue, which was very likely to be denied. If we wanted to continue with the trial in my absence, it was very very likely the Judge would issue a Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court. Of course, I didn't want the guilty verdict not did I want the Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court. So, we filed for a motion to continue - which, as expected was denied. Mr. Soldan explained why I couldn't be present and the judge allowed the trial in my absence - GREAT!! Mr. Soldan again made a excellent argument on my case and the judge found reasonable doubt and Dimissed the Charge. I mean, DISMISSED THE CHARGE!!!!
This outcome wouldn't have been possible, without Mr. Soldan's excellent handle on the Law, presentation skills and argument. I am very grateful for having hired Mr. Soldan, and I can't thank him enough.

Thomas was able to reduce serious felony charges to a misdemeanor with all but 10 days of a 180 days sentence suspended. He is supportive, informative and super smart. He worked efficiently gathering information and consulting on our behalf. We knew he would do his very best for us and that he cared. Thomas won the best outcome that could be achieved and we can't thank him enough. If you ever need a lawyer, you can't do better than Thomas Soldan.
Thomas was very professional and informed me that he dealt with these all the time so I felt really confident with him. He fought to the very end and I was very pleased with his passion on the case and didn't take no for an answer. At the end instead of getting charged with a suspended license he was able to lower it too driving without a license. Which is way better then suspended. I would highly recommend Thomas he is truly the best and knows what he is doing
Mr.Soldan who was rated 5 star on Avvo was the first few to respond and agreed to meet me on Sunday - I assume at his leisure/holiday time. I was very humbled by his agreement to meet me on a weekend and that to the long weekend. Upon meeting and explaining Mr.Soldan about the case he diligently noted all the facts and truth about my case was very empathic towards my situation and anxiety. Though he never promised me anything about the end result of the case he gave me all the possible outcomes of the case. He always was in close communication with me and responded promptly to all my questions and concerns since I had no idea of the criminal justice system of USA prior to this incident. But he certainly removed his magic wand on the day of the trial and defending me to the best of his ability. I did not want to take any plea bargain and though the evidence was working against me his arguments and questions to the witnesses came out a winner and got my case in the end dismissed. I would definitely recommend Mr.Soldan to anyone out there needing to defend their criminal charges. He is professional, sympathetic, straightforward and prompt in all his communication. Bottom line he is a good attorney and can genuinely help you. After this incident I now greatly appreciate, respect and regard the judicial system of USA and attorney’s like Mr.Soldan.
He is the attorney to go for! Mr.Soldan has done a great job in my criminal case that if all goes well, I will have clean record at the end. If i was to asked, I would defiantly choose him again.
