Biography
Law is a second career for me. I attended UC Santa Barbara and graduated as a music major in 1977. I then spent the next 18 years working in different parts of the country as a professional chef. I went to law school in 1995 at the age of 42, attending Thomas Jefferson School of law in San Diego.
After graduating law school I accepted a judicial clerkship with the Hon. William M. Acker, Jr. of the Northern District of Alabama. I then took positions with two excellent law firms in DC over a period of 9 years. I trained with exceptional lawyers at those firms and learned a great deal about the law of consumer protection. I now practice as a sole practitioner in the field of consumer bankruptcy. I live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC with my wife and son, two dogs and two cats.
