About me

Raised in Pennsylvania, I moved to the Washington, DC area to attend the University of Maryland.  After graduating with a dual degree from Maryland, I attended law school at George Mason University in Arlington, VA.  Twelve years after I moved to D.C. from Pennsylvania I am proud to say that D.C. is my home.  In addition to rooting for the Terps, I am an avid DC pro sports fan.  I also enjoy reading non-fiction and playing golf.

Prior to opening my criminal defense practice I spent two years working as a prosecutor for the District of Columbia government.  During my time as a prosecutor I became familiar with the mindset of prosecutors and law enforcement officials.  I am able to use that knowledge to my advantage when attacking the government's case thus resulting in a very favorable outcome for my clients.
