I went to Mia to help me get Full Custody of my child. I didn't know much about the court system and how everything worked, but Mia was always willing to talk to me and answer my questions. She explained everything so that I understood what to expect and what to do. She was extremely friendly and you could tell she genuinely cares about her clients and their well being.
Mia Roberts Perez is extremely professional , she handled my case well and was readily available with any questions or concerns.
I give God the Glory! I was wrongfully accused of rape. The first attorney I hired stole my money and did NOTHING to defend me. I heard about Mia from a friend I decided to contact her. Mia and her associated treated me with respect and dignity. They fought for my rights and stood by side through the whole process. I was facing life in prison but Thank God and Mia Perez I was found NOT GUILTY! I recommend her services to ANYONE facing a situation like mine or worse. She is very humble and I appreciate everything that she did for me and my family.
Mrs. Perez handeld my case very efficiently and because of her I was able to get a second chance and now have no criminal record. She responded to all my calls and was very knowledgeable about the law and my case. I highly recommend her she is a great lawyer
I had a attempt murder and had no win I was looking at 15 years she got me a 11month deal .not savino or santawida did nothing for me .shes really good at what she do I recommend her if you want someone by your side she is the one.
I retained her believing she was a solid attorney. However as our relationship deepened. I realized that she took a very reactionary approach to my case. Mia would show up to court ill prepared, asking for documents I had already given her or copies of petitions that she filed. Mia is also very hard to get a hold off, I would send emails and text messages about my case, in some instances she would reply and in others I got no response whatsoever. She would recommend a certain course of action and then later recommend the complete opposite. After retaining a new attorney I realized that Mia doesn’t even provide a statement of account so I have no clue what she did other than file a petition or two. Now I see why she has a non refundable retainer.
The final straw came when we were scheduled to go before a judge; my estranged wife sent me a message at 7:15am saying the hearing had been cancelled. I still went to court not trusting my wife. When I arrived with Mia we both learned that it in fact was cancelled. If my estranged wife knew then I believe Mia should have known. Mia called my wife attorney who said he couldn't get in contact with her.
In a pinch, I hired Ms. Perez to handle my case. She was reasonably priced and very professional initially. I later learned that you do in fact get what you pay for. She became more and more difficult to get responses from regarding the status my case (despite multiple calls/messages to her office) and eventually only heard from her via paper correspondence. I finally retained alternate representation that I was satisfied with and conducted himself like an attorney should (kept me apprised of my case, answered my questions in a timely manner).
