Jennifer Ellis is an attorney with the Philadelphia personal injury law firm of Lowenthal & Abrams, PC. She focuses on the use of social media and other online behavior and its impact on litigation. As such, Jennifer assists the other attorneys in all areas of the firm's practice, including Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability and Nursing Home Abuse and Negligence.
Jennifer also serves as a consultant under the name Jennifer Ellis, JD. Through her consulting, Jennifer works with law firms to help them improve their marketing and efficiency. She also helps businesses seeking entry with the legal vertical market.
Prior to becoming a consultant and joining L&A, Jennifer was the Associate Director of Media Technology with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the non-profit continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. There she managed many of the seminars on technology, law practice management, and technology law.
Jennifer is a national speaker, addressing legal audiences for organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and numerous county bars. She speaks and writes on issues including legal ethics, technology, law practice management, online marketing and more.
Jennifer obtained her B.A. in English from Dickinson College in Carlisle, and her J.D. cum laude from Widener University School of Law in Delaware, where she served on the Board of the Moot Court Honors Society and as a member of Law Review. Jennifer is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
