I have a national practice representing investors in federal securities fraud class actions and shareholder derivative suits. In cases where my firm has been appointed as lead counsel, I have been instrumental in helping recover more than $145 million for shareholders.
I also have a nation wide consumer fraud class action practice. Recently, I successfully settled a class action against a national health club chain concerning its cancellation polices and practices. I am also engaged in several class actions related to the foreclosure crisis. These cases concern issues such as mortgage modifications under the federal government's HAMP program, and robo-signing.
During the first ten years of my career, I practiced with two large Philadelphia firms, where I worked on a wide variety of employment and commercial matters, including successfully arguing an appeal before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in SEPTA v. W.C.A.B. (Henderson), 669 A.2d 911 (Pa. 1995), which changed workers’ compensation standard for determining voluntary retirement from workforce.
