Damian M. Sammons was born in Norman, Oklahoma on February 27, 1977. Damian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., Plan II Honors, 2000) and Rutgers School of Law - Newark (J.D., 2003).
Damian began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia under the administration of Lynne Abraham. As a prosecutor, he litigated hundreds of preliminary hearings and criminal trials and attained convictions against enumerable criminals in both the Municipal Court and Court of Common Pleas leading to the sentencing of criminal defendants to prison, parole and probation. In addition, Mr. Sammons complimented his criminal law specialty with the litigation of numerous civil actions in injunction against nuisance real estate resulting in the closure of several nuisance bars involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics in Philadelphia.
After leaving the District Attorney’s office and working for small civil defense firms, Mr. Sammons began his criminal defense practice where he now fights for the rights of Philadelphia citizens.
In addition to litigating numerous cases, Damian has lectured at Monmouth University and Northeastern University to undergraduate students on the topic of Criminal Justice and Ethics and is a student of the art of Kendo.

Damian will go above and beyond regular investigations in his cases. He is very dedicated to explaining issues and strategies to his clients. We have worked together on a number of cases and I am very impressed by his level of committment.
