Although I have past experience in criminal law (felony & misdemeanor), family law, personal injury, commercial law, and workers' compensation, I have focused my private practice on the representation of consumers in matters involving debt, credit, and fraud. I have built upon my past experience as an investigator as well as my experience in other areas of the law to bring a unique perspective to the practice of consumer rights. I have seen many abusive practices used to seperate consumers from their money that sometimes lurk beneath the surface. I consider it an honor when an individual entrusts me with their legal problem and allows me to work with them to alleviate sometimes very severe financial distress. I have found it very gratifying to be able to show clients that their situation may not be as blight as they had believed and that they do often have many options. I defend my clients in lawsuits against them as well as vigorously pursue any claims they may have against others who have violated their rights. Lenders and debt collectors have traditionally had top notch legal representation. Legal representation for consumers in matters involving consumer credit is increasing becoming in demand and I am pleased to be in a position to help fill that need. My goal is to level the playing field.
