My 19 year old son got a DUI in July, 2013, and was too scared to tell me until a week before his preliminary hearing. The lawyer I used in the past was on vacation, so I asked a co-worker the name of the lawyer he used when he got a DUI last year. He gave me Andrea Tillis' business card and I called her immediately. She gave me an appointment for 6 o'clock that evening so I wouldn't have to lose time from work. She explained the law to me and my son, what to expect at each stage of the proceedings and what options my son had. I was very impressed by her thorough knowledge of the law, her down to earth approach and her genuine compassion for my son's situation. When we left her office, I felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. I was even more impressed by her ability to negotiate with the DA and the policeman and got them to agree to a plea for my son. Thanks to Andrea, my son won't have a DUI on his record. Her experience shows and I can see why she is a well respected lawyer in the community. I will be forever grateful that my former lawyer was on vacation and to my co-worker who gave me Andrea's business card. I highly recommend Miss Tillis and I know I will be using her again very soon.
Andrea Tillis is one of the most conscientious attorneys I have ever met. She has gone above and beyond what I would have expected a lawyer to do. She came highly recommended from an acquaintance who had retained her for a complicated real estate matter and he was extremely impressed. I needed a lawyer for my divorce and custody cases and I was equally impressed with her extensive knowledge of family law . I highly recommend Ms. Tillis. I will certainly use her again.
