Review Mark Albright

About Me

Mark Albright was born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Reading Senior High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Albright College in 1979, with a concentration in pre-law. While in college, Mark served on the staff of the college newspaper, The Albrightian, and was inducted into the honorary German language society, Delta Phi Alpha. He also performed in several productions by The Domino Players, the college's drama group. Mark went on to earn his law degree at the University of Maryland - Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore, serving on the Moot Court Board and clerking at several area law firms during his student years.

Since graduation, Mark has accumulated private practice experience in solo, small, medium and large-firm environments. He also enjoys working with corporate clients' in-house counsel, having obtained in-house experience during several years as Secretary and General Counsel to Great Valley Savings Association in Reading, PA (since acquired by Fulton Financial Corporation).  Mark also served in municipal government for several years as Executive Director of the Lehigh County, PA Office of Aging and Adult Services. Currently celebrating his thirtieth year of practice at the bar, Mark enjoys a Martindale-Hubbell® BV® Distinguished™ peer review rating.

At present, in addition to his solo private law practice, Mark is an active member of the Northampton County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has also served as a course planner and lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, as chair of the Young Lawyers Section and Law Day Committee of the Berks County Bar Association, and as co-chair of the Law Day Committee of the Bar Association of Lehigh County. Mark presently serves as an alternate member of the Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Hellertown, where he resides and maintains his practice. Mark also furnishes pro bono legal consultation and services to the Pennsylvania Diversity Network and Silent Witness Peacekeepers of Pennsylvania. He is also a founding member of, and active participant in, the newly-formed Lehigh Valley Alliance for Maintaining Independence.
