My primary practice area is litigation, in which I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of disputes, including personal injury and wrongful death, as well as real estate, commercial, construction, landlord-tenant, employment, discrimination, and collection litigation issues.
I also handle a wide variety of criminal defense cases, including felonies, misdemeanors and serious traffic infractions.
My other practice areas include real estate, as well as wills/estate planning and the estate/probate process.
My offices are based in Schuylkill County, and I spend most of my time operating out of the Pottsville, Tamaqua, Orwigsburg and Pine Grove offices. However, I am available by appointment in our other offices. Furthermore, I regularly represent clients in numerous counties throughout the region - including Carbon, Northumberland, Berks, Dauphin and Lebanon counties.
I have been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2004, and then became licensed to practice in North Carolina in 2008. In 2009, I was also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to my private practice, I also previously worked as an Assistant District Attorney with the Schuylkill County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting criminal cases in Schuylkill County from the preliminary hearing stage all the way through jury trials and subsequent appeals.
Outside of the practice of law, I serve as an active volunteer firefighter with Hose Hook and Ladder Fire Company No. 1, holding the rank of Captain. In addition, I also am the Vice President of the Pine Grove Volunteer Firefighters’ Relief Association, which provides funding to the fire department for training and equipment.
Previously, I served as the Attorney Coach of the Pine Grove Area High School Mock Trial Team, which competed for several years in a statewide mock trial competition. In addition, I regularly give presentations (at no cost, of course) upon request to school and community organizations.
