About me

An energetic attorney with advanced legal research and writing skills, broad experience in real property law and family law, dedicated to serving his clients' interests and helping them resolve their legal problems effectively.

Jacob was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, though he spent several years traveling because of his father's work, living in Maryland, Virginia, and California. After high school, Jacob spent time in Florida before returning to Arizona to attend the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, he worked as a Staff Technician with the University of Arizona's Steward Observatory Mirror Lab building professional-grade telescopes and studying astronomy, before applying to law school in Virginia.

Jacob attended Appalachian School of Law in Grundy Virginia, where he graduated with academic distinction in 2009. Afterward, Jacob moved to Lancaster County, where he first met his wife. He joined the bar there in 2009 and has been actively practicing in Lancaster ever since.

Althought Jacob himself is a recent transplant, he is no stranger to Pennsylvania. Jacob's family lived and worked in Lancaster and Lebanon counties for over 200 years before spreading out across the country. In fact, his father's family still lives in Delaware and Chester Counties, and he has many counsins living near Philadelphia. Jacob's 7th Great-Grand Uncle, George Ross, was also one of the first attorneys practicing in Lancaster County. He was also a Pennsylvania state delegate, an admiralty judge, and a signer of the Declaration of Independence buried in the Christ Church Burial Ground in Philadelphia. His 6th Great-Grand Father Moses Irwin was a prominent attorney and Judge from Drumore Township. So, Jacob has deep roots in Pennsylvania, and a rich family heritage of legal and political service to our state, a legacy he hopes to continue in the future.
