ROBERT CLOFINE was born on May 30, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a 1978 cum laude graduate of Villanova University and a 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he served on the Law Review.
In May 2000, Mr. Clofine became the 6th Pennsylvania attorney to be Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). NELF is the only organization accredited by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to offer a certification in elder law. There are still fewer than a 40 Pennsylvania attorneys who have received this certification.
Mr. Clofine has been quoted and mentioned by USA Today, Money Magazine, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Kiplinger’s Retirement Report, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Personal Wealth Manger, Mutual Fund Magazine, Fortune and Forbes in articles dealing with estate planning and elder law.

Attorney Clofine is a past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Real Property and Probate Section and the York County Bar Association, where he is the former Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Section.
