I left a local district attorneys office after 5 years as a prosecutor to start my own law firm with a partner in 2001. I have practiced state and federal criminal defense ever since. In 2003, I became Board Certified in Criminal Law by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification. I have held a federal Criminal Justice Act panel attorney position since 2003, representing indigent federal criminal defendants.
When I am not practicing law, I can often be found coaching, refereeing and playing rugby. I have coached a local high school boys rugby team since 2004 and I have run a local summer youth rugby program for boys and girls in grades 1 to 8 since 2005.
