About me

With twenty years of experience in the public sector, Chris concentrates his practice in the areas of government law and regulatory affairs, energy and utilities, labor and employment law, and commercial litigation.  In his government law and regulatory affairs practice, Chris represents corporations and other public and private entities during federal and state investigations, enforcement proceedings, and litigation involving the government. In his labor and employment practice, Chris defends public and private employers against claims of discrimination and harassment, counsels employers on union and collective bargaining issues, and conducts internal corporate investigations.  Over the course of his career, Chris has represented public employers in well over 100 hearings before labor arbitrators and hearing officers.

Chris played an instrumental role in developing energy and transportation policy during the Corbett administration and went on to serve as liaison to the Marcellus Shale Coalition, Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association and Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.  He has served as Secretary of Legislative Affairs and Executive Deputy General Counsel in the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office, Chief Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, and in-house counsel to the Pennsylvania State Police and Office of Inspector General.

Chris has received numerous awards during his distinguished career, including the Attorney General’s Award for Excellence, the General Counsel’s Certificate of Excellence, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Special Achievement Award.  Chris practices regularly in the Pennsylvania and Federal Courts and has represented clients in arbitration proceedings as well as in proceedings before various administrative boards.
