A lifelong resident of Clearfield County, Ms. Bumbarger concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment law and civil litigation, including insurance defense and property disputes. Prior to joining McQuaide Blasko, she was a staff attorney at MidPenn Legal Services, a nonprofit, public-interest law firm dedicated to serving low-income residents and survivors of domestic violence in Central Pennsylvania. She also served as law clerk for President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman and Judge Paul E. Cherry of the Court of Common Pleas of Clearfield County.
Ms. Bumbarger graduated cum laude from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, where she was an articles editor for Penn State Law Review. She also was inducted into the Woolsack Honor Society and Order of Barristers, and received the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award for 2010. She was certified as a Miller Center Public Interest Advocate and volunteered at the Centre County Women's Resource Center.
Before attending law school, Ms. Bumbarger served as bureau chief at a newspaper in Philipsburg, where she became involved in a variety of community events.
She is currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
