Andrew Horowitz focuses his practice on general and complex commercial litigation and employment law matters. These matters have included:
Mr. Horowitz takes a strategic and pragmatic approach to litigation while maintaining an aggressive stance. While most cases settle, he assumes that they will go to trial until a settlement is reached and acts accordingly. He is proactive in working with clients to manage budgets and develop cost-effective approaches.
Mr. Horowitz is a graduate of the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia. He previously worked as a law clerk in the labor and employment practice of a Pittsburgh-based law firm, and as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Joy Flowers Conti of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Commerce. Before law school, Mr. Horowitz was a Development Associate for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. In college, he studied in Rome, Italy and Warsaw, Poland. Mr. Horowitz is a member of the Pittsburgh Human Resouces Association and on the Board of Trustees of Temple Sinai.
