When I was in the custody of the police after my arrest, I told them that I wanted to talk to a lawyer before I made up my mind because I am a school teacher. I tried several numbers, but either they weren't there or they wanted a credit card. The officer said "Fiandach always answers" and he was right. At 3:30 in the morning, Ed painstakingly went through my situation and condition and even spoke with the officer. After I was released, I contacted the Fiandach office, spoke with a nice woman named Sue and was given an immediate appointment with Ed. For the next four months we were a team. Ed and his associates were always on time for court and it was obvious to me that they knew their way through the system. On the day of my trial I was terrified, but Ed's friendly manner mellowed me out. In the end, we got what Ed hoped we'd get and I kept my job and my sanity. Thank you Ed and everyone at Fiandach & Fiandach.

I had always thought that DWI lawyers and personal injury lawyers were the bottom of the bucket . . . Until I received a DWI and hired Edward L. Fiandach. As many other reviewers say, at our first meeting he made me feel at ease. He informed me that this was going to be no easy task and was quite clear in informing me that we might not win. While I was a client he always returned my calls promptly and kept me informed with letters and emails. Also, at no additional charge, I could meet with him when ever I wanted. When we went to trial I was astounded by the manner in which works. He told me in advance that he does not use notes when he cross-examines and he doesn't! He KNOWS every detail in his head! He knew every fact and cross-examined the cop right into the ground. He actually got him to admit that he might have made a mistake when he said I was drunk! I swear I will never drive drunk again, but if YOU have, there is only one place you should go, Fiandach and Fiandach.

I was pulled over one night and was charged with my first aggrevated DWI. My wife insisted that I hire Ed Fiandach. I had my initial consultation with him and that was the only time I saw Mr.Fiandach. I read all the reviews and decided to hire him as my counsel. The whole process took a year to settle. Mr. Fiandach did not represent me in any of my court appearances however his team of different attorneys were with me every time I had court. Plea deal of just a DWI was offered to me multiple times but I was determined to get a dismissal since I read multiple reviews online from different clients that Mr.Fiandach is a master in getting a case exactly like mine dismissed. I opted to take the case to trial instead of accepting a Plea deal because I was not settling for a DWI. I am hoping Mr.Fiandach shows up on this last day of judgement and the result is in my favor. A completely different attorney shows up who I have never seen or met before on my final day of judgement. We introduce each other and we go to trial. 2 hours later I walk out with a conviction of aggrevated DWI. Never heard or saw Mr.Fiandach since the day I initially consulted him and paid him in full for retaining him as my counel. I will say that his team of attorneys are very polite and cordial. Will I recommend the fiandach firm to anyone? I dont think so because I am a result driven individual and I had the pleasure of meeting his team and witnessing them perform in the courtroom except for Mr.Fiandach and for that reason I doubt the integrity of all the positive reviews that are listed all over the internet.

I had first talked to a different attorney to discuss my problem and decided to go with him. By the time I got home I felt I had made a mistake...I had always heard good things about Fiandach & Fiandach so I went to the site. When I read all the great reviews I knew I had to make a change. I called their office that afternoon and they took me in the following morning. I immediately made the final decision to hire Ed after talking to him. He did the best job anyone could have done for me and I would highly recommend him. Ed Fiandach is definitely the best.

I sincerely do not know what I would have done without Mr. Fiandach's expertise and support.
I had my first (and I expect my only) DWI.
I was embarrassed and scared of what a conviction would do to my career, future opportunities and reputation.
Ed was forthcoming and honest about the potential outcomes. His counsel was on point. Although I was a nervous wreck before each court appearance , I always left knowing that l selected the best lawyer.
-My Iicense was not suspended as the judge intended.
-My case was very long due to issues with arresting officers. There were times l wanted to accept a deal and Mr. Fiandach provided pros and cons to all of my options.
I am thankful that he sincerely cared about the outcome as much as I did.
Long story short -my case was dismissed.
Mr. Fiandach was there each step of the way and I undoubtedly recommend him.

Ed Fiandach is a magician in the courtroom. I did my research and hired him after getting my 5th DWI, I was facing major time in prison. The D.A. offered me a plea deal for 2 to 6 years upstate. My case was horrible, I failed the breathalyzer, double the legal BAC, admitted to the arresting officer that I was drinking, even signed a statement against myself. Basically I'm guilty as sin... until Mr Fiandach approached the bench and negotiated with the Judge and the D.A. and came back with a new plea deal for one county year, and I don't even have to start serving my time until summer is over! (62 days away!) By far the greatest attorney I've ever had the pleasure to meet!

I was charged with felony DWI in February 2015 with a refusal. I immediately consulted my private family attorney and considering that the case wasn't the average DWI circumstances he was honest with me and suggested I seek counsel from an attorney that specialized in DWI such as Ed Fiandach. Ever since my first consultation with Mr. Fiandach, I have been more than satisfied. They were prompt wit my initial visit, I met with Ed himself and he was extremely informative, answering all my questions and setting a clear honest opinion of my case, as well as a financial expectation that (while slightly more than other firms) is completely reasonable for the services received. Every attorney at this firm that has appeared on my behalf in court (Terence McCarty and Timothy C. Rath) have been more that helpful and completely knowledgeable of the case. I was beyond impressed when Terence McCarty ended up winning my refusal hearing at the DMV for me. I have no regrets or complaints with this firm. I feel that they have gone above and beyond for me as their client and they are worth every dollar that I have spent on my defense. Not only would I recommend them with the highest regard, I wouldn't even suggest shopping around or considering another firm to handle a DWI. Thank you so much to this firm for their excellence and professionalism.

This past July I found myself in a situation I never thought I'd be in again. Let me start by saying in my early 20's I got two dwi's back in the early 90s. I never considered myself a heavy drinker, but definitely a irresponsible person when it came to that back in the day. Almost 20 years later, I am in my early 40s. I have a successful business and a family. A high school friend of mine called me up to meet for a drink who I hadn't seen in about 3 years. After leaving I sped up a little to early from a 30 to 55mph change and I again found myself in a position I never thought would happen again. I refused sobriety tests and breathalyzer and was arrested. This is when I found out about new NY laws, the 3 in 25 years. I was facing not driving for up to 5 years and possibly jail time. This is when I made the best decision hiring Ed Fiandach. When you refuse a breathalyzer, you have two court cases going. Your criminal court and your NYS DMV refusal hearing. First was the refusal hearing...the officer didn't show up and Fiandach was able to get my license restored while I was going through court. Then the criminal court, after many months of court we decided to take on a bench trial. Fiandach again came through and as a result I was charged with an ability impaired instead of a DWI. We still had one more huge hurdle to overcome(and they got over everyone we needed). The DMV refusal hearing. Even though I was found guilty of an impaired in court and could get my license back in 90 days, The DMV could still take it for 5 years. The last DMV refusal hearing was finally scheduled and we went in and Terence McCarty from Fiandach beat it, proving to the judge the officer didn't have probable cause to arrest me. I was astounded with the results. I was facing up to 5 years not driving and possibly jail time. I received an ability impaired and was able to drive most of the time throughout the process and full license back shortly after all court cases were complete. I had min. fines and no classes. If your worried about costs, spend them here because if you don't it will end up costing you a lot more down the road in fees and fines and classes. These guys truly are the best at what they do. I can't say enough

Ed Fiandach saved my career and a lot of pain / suffering of having a DWI on my record for 10 years. I am a young professional in corporate America. I made a very poor decision to drive after a long night of drinking in Rochester New York. I was pulled over on 490 west after the bridge by a state trooper. I was speeding, I mean flying. I was clocked at 93 in a 40. I was hammered and there was a strong odor of marijuana in the car. I refused all the tests because I knew I was going to fail. They searched the car and found an eighth of marijuana. I was charged with a DWI, speeding, possession of a controlled substance , and driving without a license. I thought my life was over and I was going to lose my career job over a stupid mistake. The best decision I made was make Ed Fiandach my lawyer. Right at the first meeting I knew he was the right man for the job. He calmed me down immediately. First thing he said was I promise you that you will not lose your job or see a day in jail. He was not bluffing. I was in court for a long time but everything was dropped except the speed because they had me clocked which he even got reduced with community service. I can not tell you how impressed I was with his actions and presence in court. My life would of been over if I was convicted of all these charges. If you are pulled over and are under the influence don't wait call Ed Fiandach he will be the best lawyer you can pick. I don't know how his prices compare to other lawyers but honestly it shouldn't matter, he will get you off your charges.

I couldn't believe it. Today was my first appearance in court and the Judge asked Mr. Fiandach for advice on someone elses' case. Yes advice on another person's case. The other man was represented by another lawyer and there was a question about the law. The Judge commented about not having Mr. Fiandach's book with him then asked Mr. Fiandach where the answer would be found. When he told him, the Judge asked him what the answer was and Mr. Fiandach told the court what the law was! Yup, I made the right choice.
