Used him when purchasing my house.
He forgot to mention that taxes were not paid, something got screwed in town hall (I suspect not without his help) I ended up paying penalties.
Ripped a page from house abstract (what was that for?) to show it to me.
(too lazy to move the whole book?)

He was recommended by my real estate agent.
I am not impressed by any means.
At closing I asked if it would be better to keep the original certificate of occupancy in my possession. He immediately ripped it from the abstract of title and handed it to me.
I had to go to the Abstract Title Inc. and ask them to attach the certificate to the abstract so it can be kept safe.
He did not mention that I am responsible for the tax bill whether I get the bill or not. (Well, this is no brainier, but he could have mentioned that I was not getting the bill since there was less than a week left between closing and bills being sent out). In later conversation he claimed that he did not know that it takes 6 to 8 weeks for the County to notify the town of the owner change. I can attribute his behavior to either to his lack of knowledge or simple careless of the client. (I suspect both). He was rude to me when I called and pointed out that he could have been more organized while working for me.
He does not seem to care about the client and is not afraid to show it.
