After serving as a prosecutor in the Monroe County District Attorney's Office for nearly 17 years, including 4 years as head of the DWI Bureau, in 2010, I went into private practice. In addition to earning Avvo's locally rare "Superb" DWI trial attorney designation, for over 10 consecutive years, I have been rated "BV Distinguished" by Martindale-Hubbell, the legal profession's leading peer review group. Recently, I was again selected to the National Trial Lawyers' list of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" and named one of the "10 Best DWI Attorneys for Client Satisfaction in New York" by the American Institute of DUI/DWI Attorneys.
Increasingly, I have been asked to represent college students charged with campus offenses, subjecting them to harsh university disciplinary proceedings where the potential consequences range from suspension to even expulsion. As the father of college students, I know that no parent wants a child's bright future jeopardized, especially for a relatively minor transgression. Rest assured that regardless of the nature of your case, it will be handled with the attention and care it deserves.
At Anelli Xavier, we are trial lawyers and fighting for you in the courtroom is our passion. DWI defense is complex work, and you deserve the best. Our firm has offices in Rochester, Syracuse, Albany and Buffalo. I oversee our Rochester office, from which we also serve clients in the Southern Tier and throughout Western New York, and it would be our privilege to handle your case.
If your case attracts media attention, while at the District Attorney's Office, I was the spokesman for all DWI-related cases and handled all television, radio and print interviews, so I know how to position your case to the media if it becomes necessary.
If skilled, aggressive, direct and responsive legal representation is what your case needs, the talented and conscientious attorneys of Anelli Xavier will be pleased to represent you.
