I was referred to the Obrien firm and was a little nervous but Chris and the rest of his staff made me feel very comfortable , and guided me through every step. I was always informed and received updates often. The legal aspect can be so scarey and confusing and I am glad that i had great representation with Chris O'Brien and his law firm. I will recommend the Obrien to everyone!
I was referred to Chris by an attorney my cousin works for all the way in Philadelphia. I was told there was no attorney better than him. Admittedly I was very skeptical as I assumed all attorneys were cut from the same cloth. I was so wrong with my assumption. Chris took my case after nine months of frustration trying to deal with my accident and subsequent injury which was so bad my doctors weren't even sure how I was managing to get out of bed. I needed surgery and the defense's claims adjuster was denying my coverage. I was relying on friends because I was incapable of getting around without an immediate surgery on my back to allow me mobility. He had his hands full, but he assured me he would help me.
From the moment I met him I knew he was someone I could trust. Unlike other attorneys I spoke to he took a personal interest in my case. He didn't have one of many young and inexperienced attorneys handle my case. Chris handled my case personally as I learned he did with every client. He was always honest with me, kept in constant contact in order to keep me in the loop, and made sure I got my needs taken care of. Not only had he helped me get the care I needed for my physical well-being but also provided immense amounts of emotional and mental support, even if it meant taking a call from me at 10:30pm when he had depositions first thing the next morning. He didn't treat me like a client. He treated me like family. He fought viciously for me to get what I needed and deserved.
The defense was a nightmare. They had admitted fault, and they had more than enough means of taking care of my case. But they did everything they could do to make my life a living hell to try and get me to drop my case. If it weren't for Chris I would have cracked and I would have been broke and incapable of taking care of myself. After 2.5 years we finally settled out the case for twice the expected value of my case.
Let me repeat that; twice the expected value of my case.
He took care of me for almost two years and all he asked in return was that I trust him and hang in there. I did just that and in the end he came through on everything he promised. On the day we met, after getting to know each other and explaining the case, he made me a promise. He said, "you're a good guy who got screwed. When I take this case I am not just going to make sure 25-year old you is taken care of, because in another 25 years you might need help again. I promise to look after the 25-year old you and also the 50-year old you." He delivered on that promise. Thanks to Chris, as long as I am responsible, I won't ever have to worry about my future self when it comes time to get the surgeries and subsequent care I will need.
THERE IS NO BETTER INJURY ATTORNEY THAN CHRIS, AND THERE ARE HARDLY ANY HUMANS AS GENUINELY WONDERFUL AS HIM.
He is honest, compassionate, attentive, ethical, moral, hard-working, perseverant, intelligent, kind, understanding, strong, supportive, and so much more. There is a reason why he is recommended by his peers, feared by the defense that goes up against him, and respected by all. And his ethics transcend his job as an attorney. He actively helps out the WNY community. When the Southtowns were hit with 10 feet of snow in December he and the employees of his firm drove down there and volunteered to shovel. He didn't ask to be recognized. He only asked that others join him so that together they could ensure the safety of all those affected. This is the kind of man you want on your side. You don't come across people like Chris often in life. I won't tell you to trust me alone. Trust his results. Trust the testimonials of his clients and peers. But most of all, trust Chris.
I would highly recommend Mr. O'Brien for a personal/automobile injury lawyer. He truly cares about his clients, even after the case is over, and gives each one his undivided attention. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to do whatever needs to be done. They said that our job was to get better and they would do the rest. This was the truth. We never had to worry about what should we do next...they already had taken care of whatever it was before we even asked.
I was referred to Chris O'Brian by a lawyer friend of the family. I worked with Chris and his firm over a period of 2.5 years on a personal injury case. Chris was there from the beginning and helped reassure my family and I through a difficult time. Chris and the rest of his team at the O'Brian firm were wonderful to work with. Compassionate. Knowledgeable. Reliable. Would recommend to anyone!
Christopher O'Brien is a no nonsense, passionate professional that really strive to make his clients whole in light of the difficult challenges they may find themselves in. Mr. O'Brien has assembled a team at the O'Brien Firm that's second to none. My auto injury case was one that was career ending. Mr. O'Brien's staff dealt with all the madness of no-fault and reassured my wife and I every step of the way. I had a very challenging case, but He's not in the Top Ten in WNY for nothing. After the hearing I told Christopher that I would be afraid to face him in a court room. Everyone I Know will be using the O'Brien Firm. What sold me the most was during deposition a statement was included that was untrue and I let it be know to the defense. They would have never knew if I hadn't corrected it. Mr O'Brien thanked me for being forthright as opposed to being untruthful. I never use to use integrity and attorney in the same sentence. Mr. o'Brien was the opposite of the lawyer stereo types. Excellent Law Firm.
From day 1, Chris was very attentive and caring towards my needs with my broken hand form a car crash. He was on me about following up on medical appointments and making sure my doctor's were treating me fairly. The insurance company wanted me to take ten or fifteen thousand for my injury. Chris told me not to do it and he got me $75,000. He's a friendly lawyer who explained everything as many times as I needed it and gave me documentation to see so I could hold it in my hand.
Let me start by explaining a little about my case. I was in a car accident hit from behind at a red light on my way to work. This resulted in a very bad back injury and I had to obtain a lawyer. At the time I had no idea who to obtain I went to one of the lawyers that advertise a lot. This was my first mistake!! Big mistake!! Let’s just say things got worst from there. I was denied by no fault following an IME appointment and needed to have back surgery. At this time I was told by my lawyer there was nothing that could be done and no one would cover the back surgery. I was pulled out of work with no money and almost lost everything. I was in a great deal of pain at this time. We decided to fire my current lawyer and seek other representation. I made an appointment with Chris O’Brien to discussed some of my biggest considers. The most important thing for my family was not having the no fault coverage that was wrongly denied. I needed the surgery in order to be able to work again. So this was my first consider, the second was I wanted the denied no fault overturned. I wanted the insurance company to have to pay for my medical bills I was incurring from this accident. After discussing these issues with Chris I obtained him as my lawyer. My husband and I felt welcomed and Chris assured us he would find justices in this. This is where everything got better for me and my family. Chris worked on my case and things just kept getting better. He kept me updated and I received my surgery very quickly. I started receiving my disability payments shortly after. I received a settlement and my no fault was over turned; all my medical bills were paid. Chris is very honest and sincere and you just don’t find lawyers like this.
Chris and his office staff are just amazing and I could not thank them enough for everything they did for me and my family. They made me feel like part of their family. Thank you to everyone at the O’Brien Firm!!!!!
Chris is not only a fantastic lawyer, but a great person as well. Anything I ever needed was only a phone call away. He treated my case and myself with utmost respect. Chris will do anything in his power to obtain the benefits a person deserves. He went above and beyond his call of duty multiple times for me and I can't imagine what I would have done without him. The process of my lawsuit was extremely difficult and daunting but with Chris as my lawyer I was able to come out on top every step of the way. Chris's staff is also a pleasure to work with. They got to know me on a first name basis and were just as excited as I was when I heard the news that my case was won. True compassion all around.
Chris is definitely understanding and willing to work through anything. He is so supportive and works extremely hard no matter what. He dedicates himself to every person.
My case involved extremely personal issues and he always treated me with kindness and respect.
Chris has an excellent reputation, is fair and is always willing to help. His office staff is terrific and easy to get along with. He got us good results and kept us informed along the way.
