One great thing about Matthew Porter is that he does not forget a face. I met him YEARS ago when he first came to the area. He then became my lawyer during a traffic incident I had. He definitely helped me in court, was very professional, and had a great rapport with the DA and judge, and stayed on top of things for me. I have had a couple of other issues since and even when he was not my public defender, he still helped by listening and offering me advice. Which leads me to the best part about Matthew Porter: he is a LAWYER not a JUDGE. He has NEVER judged me.....he listens, shares his knowledge, and goes above and beyond even when he is not getting paid for it. Clearly he loves what he does and does it well.

Matt is not only a great lawyer but a great guy. I used him as my lawyer 8-9 years ago and today we still remain friends. He kept me In the loop through the entire process. And to this day would help me if he were my lawyer or not. So clearly the person with the problem is completely mistaken on the kind of person they r dealing with. It's also my view that it takes a pretty low person to do this to not only a great family man but a man who has worked In this community for years!!!!

Mr. Porter handled my case professionally and quickly and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Very satisfied with his services and would highly recommend him.

This is not a very good lawyer. Doesn't tell client much of anything and wont talk to family. Doesn't fight for client either. Change lawyers if he is yours!
