My DWI case was very unique and after I was charged I spoke to several lawyers. They all approached my case as if it was a cut and dry DWI charge and spoke numbers. Mr. McGaw took his time to explain each aspect of the case and describe each possible outcome. During the entire time the case was ongoing, he kept me updated with any changes. Furthermore, Mr. McGaw went out of his way to explain things to my superiors since this charge could have prevented me from doing my job. I'm positive that the good outcome of my case is a direct reflection of Mr. McGaw's hard work and experience. I highly recommend Mr. McGaw.

I find it very funny that Ronald has so many good reviews on here, but he hasn't tried to help my boyfriend (who is black) try to get him justice against his child's mother (who is white) even though this woman smokes around their small child inside her small 2 bedroom apartment with 3 kids by 3 different men, burned the child with a cigarette on his arm when he was just 2 years old, and gave her son multiple breathing problems which were caught on video, and all Ron says is, "The mother usually ends up getting custody." even though my boyfriend doesn't smoke and lives in a 5 bedroom house. My boyfriend has joint custody with this woman and yet he only gets to see him 2 weekends out of the month. He has requested more time with his son and Ron isn't helping him getting more days at all. I don't know how this man could've been a judge because he is quiet as a mouse when my boyfriend is in court with him even though he tells my boyfriend ahead of time that that he will bring up his matters, meanwhile my boyfriend's son's mother's legal aid never shuts up. Where is the justice in that? Also my boyfriend has even seen Ronald pow-wowwing and perhaps even flirting with the opposing council who he is suppose to be fighting against for my boyfriend when my boyfriend went to the courthouse to file papers and Ronald and the opposing council looked at him shocked. One time my boyfriend's son's lawyer was defending my boyfriend in court more than Ronald was! Ron has also made it clear to my boyfriend that he doesn't want to fight for him for whatever reason because when my boyfriend politely questioned his quiet tactics he told him, "You can always request to have another legal aid." Ronald also never advises my boyfriend any legal advice so I have offered to try my best to find it myself online for him. Joseph Fariggno is another joke that works for Ronald's law firm and has been present when Ronald decided not to show up in court to defend my boyfriend. This guy tries to tell my boyfriend and I to be quiet even when the judge is asking us questions and wants to hear what we have to say because she knows they don't want to speak up for my boyfriend because they're clearly in the judge's pockets. You're better off saving your money so you can hire a REAL, respectable, and curtious lawyer.

Ron McGaw has been handling landlord/tenant matters for our Property Management company for over 8 years. He is very thorough and has a strong understanding of the court system with his prior experience as a judge. He is always accessible, very in touch with his clients and easy to communicate with. It has been our pleasure to use Ron for our legal needs and we will continue to do so in the future.

I have been assigned legal aid attys in the past in family court and Ron was, by far, the nicest, most knowlegable and helpful I've ever ad assigned to me. His secretary is wonderful and either she and even Ron himself call back prompyly with answers to questions. Legal aid calling back at all is a miracle, but the actual atty? Unheard of! Ron also has an edge as he is a former judge and has amaing knowledge and insight as far as how a judge can or may rule. I would recommend him to anyone, especially where family atty is needed. -Sheri C

Mr. Mcgaw handles Tenant/Landlord cases for two of our large properties in the Hudson Valley. He is very thorough and responsive to all cases. His background as a judge and overall law expertise allows me to highly recommend him as an Attorney.
