L.J. D’Arrigo is a Partner in the Immigration Practice Group at at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna (the Capital Region's largest law firm) where he assists in the daily management of the Immigration Practice Group, including management, training and development of staff. He specializes in corporate and professional immigration involving employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, labor certification, and family-based immigration. L.J. represents our region’s top employers in securing employment-based visas and counseling employers on compliance issues. He has developed an expertise in assisting technology companies and research institutions in importing highly-skilled labor to fuel local growth in the technology and semiconductor industries. Prior to this, he served as Of Counsel and Associate Attorney after his graduation from Albany Law School, where he served as the Managing Editor for Lead Articles on the Albany Law Environmental Outlook Journal. L.J. first joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna as a paralegal in 1997, where he continued to be employed until his graduation from law school. L.J. also worked as a paralegal at Foley, Hoag & Elliot in Boston, MA.

L.J. D’Arrigo is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State and Albany County Bar Associations, as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). L.J. is the past president of the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities – Hispanic Outreach Services. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and member of The New York State Association of Realtors, The Greater Capital Region Association of Realtors, and CIREB (Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers, Inc.).
