I am Deputy General Counsel of the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, where I litigate cases of significance to the Department and provide counsel to its divisions. Prior to accepting my appointment, I was in private practice, litigating business, commercial, intellectual property, information technology and construction disputes.
I have been involved in virtually all facets of civil litigation, have represented clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings and have served as an arbitrator and commercial mediator. I am an adjunct at CUNY's School of Professional Studies, where I teach negotiation and dispute resolution.
