About me

              Attorney Jonathan Schopf received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2004 and his Bachelor's Degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2000. He currently serves on the Board of the Rensselaer County Bar Association as Secretary. He is actively involved in the community as a team coach for the New York State Bar Association’s high school mock trial tournament and routinely volunteers at the Montgomery County SPCA animal shelter.

              His primary practice areas include personal injury, commercial and civil litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants, labor law, employment law, criminal defense, DWI/DUI defense, Article 81 guardianships, constitutional law, estates and probate, real estate law and animal law.

               Mr. Schopf is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and The Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member in good standing in many local associations, including: the New York State Bar Association, the Rensselaer County Bar Association, the Albany County Bar Association, the Saratoga County Bar Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce and the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce.
