Zachary Reibstein began his career in 2002 as a paralegal with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. In this position he interviewed crime victims, witnesses and officers to help decide what charges (if any) were to be brought. In late 2003 he began law school in San Diego, California on a full merit scholarship. During this time he earned numerous honors and awards before graduating Magna Cum Laude and in the top 10% of his class. His law school years also included clerkships with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office, the Office of the San Diego Public Defender and an international law firm focused on securities fraud litigation.
After graduation, Mr. Reibstein moved back to New York and became an Assistant District Attorney in Queens. He began in the Criminal Court Bureau and prosecuted all types of misdemeanors including assault, theft, drunk driving and child endangerment. He was soon promoted to a position with the Career Criminals and Major Case Bureau, where he worked closely with the NYPD on hundreds of investigations including attempted murder, kidnapping, robbery, burglary, and domestic violence.
Mr. Reibstein left the DA’s Office and opened his own practice in 2009, drawing on the skills and experience he gained as a prosecutor to help those who have been accused of crimes or otherwise aggrieved. Since entering private practice Mr. Reibstein has won numerous felony trials and recovered over $1,000,000 in judgments for civil clients. He was named a “Top 40 Under 40″ attorney by the American Society of Legal Advocates for both 2014 and 2015; and the National Trial Lawyers included him on their list of 2014′s Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He also currently serves as Vice President of the Assistant District Attorney's Association of Queens County. In 2015 Mr. Reibstein began an association with Bergman, Bergman, Goldberg, Fields & Lamansoff, LLP, one of New York's preeminent personal injury firms.
Whether you've been arrested, had your rights violated, or injured by someone else's actions Mr. Reibstein will fight for your rights aggressively, guaranteeing you the best representation possible.

I met Zachary as my advesary when he was an Assistant District Attorney of Queens County. I found him to be extremely knowledgable in criminal law and his courtroom demeanor is professional and very effective. A client who has Zachary Reibstein fighting for him or her in Court is most likely to have a good result. I endorse this Attorney.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
Anyone looking for a lawyer has to try and find the advocate who can bring their case to the best possible conclusion. Zachary is that advocate because he has the experience to know where the State's case is weak, the raw talent to make the most of those weaknesses at a trial, and knows exactly how to present all of this to prosecutors in New York. That is why he is so successful in getting the best results for his clients.
