Cheryl L. Fratello is the president and founder of Fratello Law, P.C. and practices in the firm’s trusts & estates, elder law and real estate departments.
For years, Cheryl has assisted clients with their estate planning through the use of wills and trusts, and the administration of estates in Surrogate’s Court. She regularly works with clients seeking asset protection, Medicaid planning, and Medicaid nursing home and home care applications. Cheryl has also lectured to many local communities about important legal issues in the fields of Trusts & Estates, Elder Law and Real Estate.
Cheryl received her Juris Doctor degree from SUNY Buffalo Law School and earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the State of New York University at Stony Brook. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Cheryl is an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for Veterans benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and completed the Alzheimer’s Association accredited AD Training Program.
Cheryl volunteered with and supports local organizations including the NCBA Senior Clinic, LIWA, Maurer Foundation for Breast Health Education, Child Care Council of Nassau, Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, Friends of Caleb Smith State Park, and Girl Scouts of Nassau County.
