This law office handled my modification with the utmost professionalism. I was always treated with respect and in a manner showing how much they really cared about helping me save my home. I can only imagine how much aggravation this office has to deal with between the incompetent bank reps and clients that are never happy, regardless of the modified terms, because people who haven't made a mortgage payment in years now have to make one. Even if they received 2%, they will find something to complain about. I give this office the utmost admiration and respect to come in to work everyday and fight like pitbulls knowing all the negativity they endure. Again, I had a top notch experience and would never use any other attorney when it comes to mortgages or real estate. I just wish they practiced in all areas of the law.
Marda Rosenbaum did not do what I retained her to do. After 4 months of many unanswered phone calls I found out from another attorney that she could not legally do what she told me she was going to do for me. I want my money returned and was told they spent a lot of hours on my case. Doing what?
I am reporting Marda Rosenbaum to the New York State Attorney General, the Better Buisness Bureau and Consumer Fraud. This is Fraud!
I am a current client and for the past 9 months or so, I have yet to talk to Attorney Rosenbaum and her staff has been very unresponsive. It seems all my retainer fees have paid for is for a third party to handle dealing with my mortgage lender. I'm so afraid that I will end up having to pay an exuberant amount of money to my lender to avoid a foreclosure or taxes to the IRS . I get no phone calls back or emails responded to. I'm very very disappointed.
After an unsuccessful loan modification process, trying to recoup the money from my initial deposit, the office staff was not very responsive. Multiple phone calls without a return phone call. After repeated attempts, I finally spoke to someone who was familiar with my case, she immediately blamed the tardiness of the refund on me. When I held the woman accountable for her tone of voice and her response, she then stated that I was the one being rude and she then hung the phone up. I too am in a custom service field and would never treat a client the way I had been treated. I simply asked for a return phone call to apprise me of the status of my claim but instead I was made to feel at fault. In addition, the refund that was initially promised ended up being cut in half under the "gusie" that more than one attempt had been made to achieve a modification, with no writtent confirmation of that.
I found the entire staff to be friendly and knowledgable. they were all familiar with my circumstances. I could call and speak to anyone in the office and each one of them would know my file inside and out. the attorney was always very responsive and made me feel very comfortable. talkiing to her was like talking to a close friend.
