i would like to state that this attorney refuses to return my funds that i put into an escrow account in November 6, 2011 for a short sale home my contract ended 2/27/2012 i contacted him on march 15 2012 that i no longer want to continue and did not break any contract since it ended. and to this time the bank has not approved the short sale for this property. Through repeated efforts of my attorney and myself he refuses to return emails phone calls and he refuses to return my 6000 dollars that was cashed by him i have referred him to the 10th judicial system in hauppauge.he has no short sale approval at time of cancellation on this home when i cancelled waiting over 6 months when i should have closed in 90 days actually christmas of 2011 so i was told. I have emailed sent letters to his address which is a p.o. box ,does not answer his phone or return calls. I would like to say he told the price the bank was looking for on this home me. my offer was 200,000 he told me to offer 210,000 dollars if i wanted the home. My lawyer has made several attempts to contact mr berg to retreive my money he will not return funds I have notified the town of islip councilman and the greivance committe in hauppauge ny to further investigate my funds and return of 6000 dollars i am a single mother with 4 children i work very hard to purchase a home working 16 hour days and & 7 days a week to purchase a home for myself and my children. i have done everything the proper way with attorneys and still can not receive a refund of my money.

My banker recommended him to do estate planning for my wife and I. Little did I know that my wife would pass away the next week. He has been like a member of my family for the past 4 years, helping us in every way.
