I hired Michael Han to handle a cellphone ticket I received in Queens. He rescheduled the hearing a few times, however failed to post a $40 bond or inform me that it's required. My license was suspended for more than a week because of that bond. In the end he lost the case, again i had to decipher a letter from TVB to figure out the outcome because he did not notify me in any way.

Michael Matt Han’s response: “I apologize to this person for what he went through. I must advise that bond payments are the motorist's responsibility. Cases are done win or lose, with no guarantees. Dmv automatically generates letters to motorists for bond payments, and fine letters that show payment due dates. Licenses are suspended by dmv for lack of bond payments and/or fine payments. suspension termination fees of $70 are sometimes added when fines are not paid. Ultimately it is the motorist's responsibility to pay fines and bonds. Hiring an attorney does not guarantee a win. If you ignore letters you receive from dmv you will end up in this type of situation. My cellphone takes text messages 917-420-3751.”
