    Just monitor the situation and if the illness becomes disturbing again then you may need to approach the Court and modify your judgment. It will always come down to the best interests of the child(ren).

    Yes, your "friend" is most likely liable for tortuous conversion of the vehicle. However, if he proves that he planned to give it back at some point he may have a defense, though he cannot hold onto it forever. If the car is damaged when you do get it back, he may be liable for the damage, if there is any.
