United States v. M.A.

Stephen A Somerstein

Practice Area:Criminal Defense

Outcome:We do not state outcome. Each case is different. Past performance is no indicator of future results. We do have an excellent record, but believe it is not a reliable measure to select an attorney.

Description:An ambitious young Algerian national, lawfully living in the United States with his wife and infant son, was working as a manager and personal trainer in a Boston branch of well known national health club. He was indicted for stealing the identities of customers and providing the information to the members of the "Millennium Conspiracy" so the data could be used to steal money to fund its plot to place bombs at the Los Angeles International Airport. An analysis of the health club's computer system showed that its security measures were so weak that access to the information at issue could have been had by any number of people other than our client.
