Matrimonial litigation can be an extremely complex and confusing process. I see my role as being a trusted guide and counselor. I work very closely with my clients and other professionals involved in the case. I help my clients cope with day to day challenges at a time of extreme emotional and financial crisis. We work together to develop and prioritize goals, both long term and short term.

My clients and their family members can count on me to help them navigate the emotional and financial challenges during this difficult stage, and to provide them with legal representation based on personalized service, responsibility, compassion and trust.

As an initial strategy, I coach my clients to keep their emotions in check and to avoid litigation. I encourage them to seek resolution of their issues whenever possible so they can meet their goals in a cost effective and amicable manner. This is especially important when there are children involved and co-parenting is desired. If litigation is needed, it is usually a last resort, when it is determined by careful analysis that the benefits outweigh the risks and expense.

I strive to create a long term relationship with clients, to fully address their concerns about their children and financial issues, and ultimately improve their lives. Most importantly, I want my clients to move on with their lives.
