    Craig’s Answer

When you accept Medicaid related benefits, you agree to reimburse the agency from monies received from third party sources. That being said, Medicaid generally will seek reimbursement only for money it expends for accident related treatment, etc. If everything was paid through no-fault, there should be no lien. Please keep in mind that your attorney is under an obligation to notify Medicaid of the settlement so even though there may be no lien, getting written confirmation of that may slowdown the settlement process.

    Craig’s Answer

The fact that your child fell and got hurt does not mean she is entitled to compensation. What was wrong with the steps that caused your daughter to fall? Was it something the landlord is required to maintain? You should consult with a personal injury attorney as soon as possible. Take pictures of the steps where she fell and make sure your daughter gets the medical treatment she needs. Good luck.

Save all of the product and packaging and make sure your child gets the necessary medical care he/she needs. You should consult with a personal injury attorney as soon as possible to determine whether or not you have a viable claim against the manufacturer, retailer, etc.

These guys damaged my car when i parked. They left without notifying me Will my insurance premiums increase because of this.

    Craig’s Answer

Probably not. I say probably because there are factors that may be considered including your claims history. Assuming you have a clean claims record then this not-at-fault accident should have no premium implications.

  • Policy limits demand ?

I was recently involved in an accident I was declared at fault for... My insurance sent me a letter saying the defendant is "demanding policy limits" I looked at the attached medical bills that her attorney sent, her bills are way under my policy ...

    Craig’s Answer

It seems you are confusing your no-fault coverage with the limits of your bodily injury coverage. Assuming the claimant was in her own vehicle, her policy will cover her medical expenses, not yours. She is looking to your policy for compensation for pain and suffering among other possible damages and in that regard, she can demand whatever she wants. She still has to prove its worth. Unless it turns out her injuries may be worth in excess of your coverage limits, let the insurance company handle it and don't stress too much.

If you are going to attempt to amend the police report, you must do so as soon as possible. Usually you only have a limited window to make such changes. Get medical treatment if needed and speak with a personal injury attorney as soon as possible.
