I have been a Board member of my condominium for 14 years and have worked closely with Alden, who is our legal representative. He is in every way, what I, and the Board have ever expected an attorney representing us to be. I highly recommend Alden for any legal task.
When the residents of our town home community decided to release our management company, Alden was right there to help in any way possible. During the transition, the Board of Director's were presented with a lawsuit. Our Insurance Company, who issued the policy had a Directors and Officer's Insurance portion in place and refused to defend us. There were certain wordings in the lawsuit that they deemed undefendable. We went to Alden who insisted that it was their obligation and duty to defend. He proceeded in writing briefs to back up the insurance company's responsibilty. They still denied us, so Alden took on the case and won it hands down. In fact the plaintiff went for an appeal with the State Supreme Court and LOST again hands down. By the, we got rid of State Farm. He is SUPER in our book.
Mr. Smith is extremely knowledgeable in many areas of law. He does extensive research when necessary to find out the correct answers and the best solutions to any problem. You don't fine too many people these days who are as committed to the law profession and public service as Alden.
