  • How long is customary to wait for a response from an offer that is made on a property? 24 Hrs?

I submitted an offer to the listing agent over 24 Hrs. ago, and have not heard back from her yet?

    Carolyn’s Answer

There is no "rule" as to the customary waiting time in which to receive a response to an offer. In fact, you should "cool your heels" and wait it out. The seller may want to obtain other offers or elevate your insecurity, making you likely to raise your offer again.
