    Do not settle with Walmart for $7,500! You need to retain an attorney immediately for that type of injury. We know several in that area if you do not have someone reliable. Good luck!

    You made the right decision in making this attorney your "old attorney." He shouldn't be waving guns in the air when he is discussing legal issues or real estate deals. If a gun was pulled on you, you should report that to the police, it is menacing. You may have a civil claim as well. Consult further with an unarmed attorney!

    You are confused here. If you were in an accident and suffered personal injury, you should immediately get a lawyer. If you consulted with some lawyers and they do not believe you have a case and you still want to file in small claims court for minor injury, then you would have to sue the driver and/or the owner of the vehicle that hit you. You do not have standing to sue the other driver's insurance company for them to cover your loss! Once you sue the other driver, under his/her policy,...

    Highly unusual that your attorney did not give you a retainer agreement to sign. An attorney should never commence work on a matter without a written understanding of the terms of representation, the fee, etc. I agree that you should first try to work this out with your attorney.

    You need MRI's and other tess to determine if you have any disc problems in your back or neurological problems in other areas of your body. The extent of your injuries supportefd by medical documentation will determine your damages claim.
