Entrepreneurs benefit from my executive experience, large law firm training, and hands-on, cost-sensitive entrepreneurial approach. For example, I recently have been asked to arrange the reorganization of a jewelry manufacturer with operations in the US and Mexico, the purchase of a travel/leisure company in Monaco, the purchase of a medical services company in the midwest, and to testify as an expert witness on the valuation of IP assets. I am recognized as an expert in the exploitation of entertainment products, having worked actively with/for most of the major and independent distribution organizations involved in film and music (e.g., MPAA, MPEA, MCA-Universal, Warner Bros., RIAA, WEA Corp. RED, ADA, Koch/E1, etc.), and having consulted diverse entities in the value and use of entertainment brands and products, including, e.g., DDB Needham, IMG, Philip Morris, Nomura Securities.
In addition to acting as advisor as above, I performed as a senior operational executive within the entertainment sector, e.g., as COO of a cable venture formed by majors and as CEO of a publicly-traded video producer and manufacturer.
Still further, because of my close working relationship with senior executives and artists, I am often asked to represent such executives and artists in their professional matters, such as the creation, termination and valuation of their personal service contracts (I am recognized as an expert in this area), and also, proudly, in their personal, family matters.
Finally, I have been recognized as a successful fundraiser (e.g., by Fortune Magazine's "Guide[s] to Top Presidential Fundraisers", and by a nationally-known private school).
