Adam D. Perlmutter has been practicing law in New York since 1992. His legal work includes federal and state criminal defense and public interest litigation.
Mr. Perlmutter was previously an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County, New York, prosecuting major felony trials and appeals. His current practice involves federal criminal defense including terrorism, organized crime, narcotics, violent felonies and white-collar crimes.
Mr. Perlmutter is an active member of the New York City community. He is a board member and counsel to the Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn, a representative of Assemblyman Codes Committee Chairman Joseph Lentol on the New York Justice Task Force, a permanent body advising the Chief Judge of New York State on systemic and legislative changes to avoid wrongful convictions, and is a trustee of the Hannah Senesh Community Day School in Brooklyn to name a few of his involvements.
