We used the services of Mr. Rosenberg and his assistant Ms. Baum at a time in our lives when a Long Island school district was purposely screwing our child. After reaching out to Mr. Rosenberg, we literally begged him to take our case ( we were 60 miles east of his office) in which he finally said yes!
To end it quickly, he ate the school district up ! He had them stuttering, shaking, and at a loss for word. Case did not go before the Hearing Officer to decide. The district caved in and did what they should have done from the start!. When I read the transcripts today, I still get goosebumps as the teachers were made to look like the fools they really were. Mr Rosenberg exposed them for breaking numerous 504 and IDEA regulations.
God Bless this man! He does it out of his heart for the kids, not for the money!
I was told that Neal is the best education lawyer in NYC, and was very pleased with the services he and Marc Gottlieb provided. They negotiated a case with my school district and I was quite satisfied with the settlement. I felt they gave me good direction every step of the way. Was speaking with a colleague and found out that he had represented her daughter in a similar case 20 years ago - she spoke very highly of him.
I totally disagree with the last reviewer Mr. Rosenberg treated me with respect and kindness He took a very hard case and turned it upside down and won me the one to one RN nurse for my type 1 diabetic child and then some He will always have the foremost respect in our family His assisting attorney Mr Gottlieb is just as great! Love the law offices of Mr. Rosenberg and wouldn't even dream of going to someone else!! He and Mr Gottlieb are simply the best!!!1

I am a former client of Mr. Rosenberg. Mr. Rosenberg called me into his office the week before my due process hearing and "told me" to settle for very little bit of tuition reimbursement. I refused to accept it and he called me later that day and said "I quit" - right before the hearing. I called the lawyer for the district myself and negotiated a 4 year settlement for tution reimbursement for a special education school for $10,000 MORE than the settlement which Mr. Rosenberg told me to "take" and I was only getting becuase of his relationship with the district lawyer. He told me the money would be held in his escrow account so I would not pay tax on it. Another lie! He holds the money in escrow so he can hide the real amount the district paid and well, take some extra for himself? I was lucky he quit!
