In the anxiety-provoking area of landlord-tenant law it really helps to have an advocate who is patient and level headed. Luckily, I found those qualities in abundance with Jennifer. She is a lawyer who will give you a truthful legal picture of your situation. She will offer her guidance and will not try to manipulate you into situations that will only increase your legal bills. Jennifer's knowledge, determination, patience and stamina throughout my legal battle is what kept me sane. I absolutely recommend Jennifer and have to friends in similar situations. She will not steer you wrong.

We came to Jennifer after having gone through a full trial and lost. We were about to get into yet another trial because of a lawyer too happy to bill for his hours that he could not care less about whether trying to fight this further even made a difference. Jennifer is a lawyer who will give you a truthful legal picture of your situation (and make no mistake: the law sees things differently, if you are a tenant and get a pro landlord judge, you are doomed no matter how big a crook your landlord is) She will offer her guidance and will not try to manipulate you into situations that will only increase your legal bills. We absolutely recommend Jennifer and wish we had met her earlier - BEFORE our first trial: we would have saved ten thousands of dollars and months of precious time, headaches and aggravation.

In the incredibly complex and anxiety-provoking area of landlord-tenant law it really helps to have an advocate who is patient and level-headed. Fortunately, we found those qualities in abundance with Jennifer. She shepherded us through a lengthy and very trying negotiation with a determined and heavily-lawyered landlord that fought us tooth and nail every step of the way. Although it was a long, hard battle, we feel very satisfied with what we were able to extract from the landlord in the settlement negotiation. Jennifer's knowledge, determination, patience and stamina throughout the effort was instrumental in enabling us to achieve that. We do not hesitate in recommending her very highly.

Jennifer Addonizio was the 5th lawyer I interviewed during my selection process. I hired her because she was far superior to all the others. She communicates in a calm, careful, attentive, informed, and clear manner. I especially appreciated that she listens patiently and doesn't interrupt. It was obvious that she had my best interests in mind.
She worked together with me on devising a strategy to reach resolution, and then helped me to execute that strategy. It worked and I am completely satisfied with how things worked out and am on good terms with the other party now.
Her significant experience and knowledge in the area of my concern (and her ability to pass that on to me) was key in creating such an amicable outcome
Although my situation didn't require any aggressive or combative action on her part, I believe she is just as capable of this when needed as she was of the calm and centered actions she took with me.
I enthusiastically recommend her!

Ms. Rozen is exactly what one needing landlord/tenant legal services would want. She is extremely knowledgeable in this area of the law. She is also responsive, straightforward and methodical in her approach. Importantly, she is very gifted in terms of leveraging the strengths of a particular case and anticipating/mitigating issues which may become problems down the road (eg. the public record implications of any particular settlement approach). I have found her to be honest, professional, and committed to a favorable client outcome. I recommend her services unreservedly.

It is my pleasure to share with fellow tenants about Jennifer. I am a Physician and my wife too. Children of Physicians generally become Physicians. The biggest endorsement I can give Jennifer is that, I would actually love if one of my children becomes an Attorney. My trust on Attorneys was at it lowest ebb as a result of the initial Attorney but My trust on Attorneys increased several notches once I switched to Jennifer.
We were in a dispute with our former Landlord regarding breach of Warranty of Habitability. I initially chose another Attorney and after making us spend several thousands of dollars the case kind of started turning against us. That Attorney wouldn't respond to emails. Even if he responds, it'll be one liners. That Attorney doesn't answer phone calls. Even if he returns our phone calls, he'll be pushing us in such a hurried manner as though a freight train was coming after him. In time, the case which isn't very complicated, started turning against us. That's when I started looking for another Attorney and came across some reviews about Jennifer on Avvo. I called her and left a message. She promptly called back and heard me out. Her genuine concern during this phone conversation made me to decide to leave my previous Attorney and it was an easy decision to make in Jennifer's favor. I am extremely glad that I made the switch.
Jennifer won't promise you the moon. But she will use her expertise to give you her honest and realistic opinions and suggestions. She may not have 40 years of expertinence. But who needs 40 years of experience when she has the utmost integrity, knowledge of law and commitment to her clients, which no amount of experience can replace or substitute?
With Jennifer on your side, you have a very punctual, very intelligent, extremely committed, very honest and a very bright young Attorney working for you. The Landlord who was offering a pittance, promptly and firmly came to an amicable settlement once I made the switch to Jennifer. We'll be really glad if this review can help another family in need of an honest and dynamic Attorney to represent them in a litigation.

Jennifer is an experienced, reliable and trustworthy lawyer who communicates well and is highly effective. She has my highest recommendation.
Jennifer was very easy to get in touch with, and responded within 20 minutes after I sent my initial email. When we spoke on the phone, I quickly concluded she was very knowledgeable about landlord/tenant issues, and it was an easy decision to retain her services. After a quick overview of my case and a review of the evidence I had gathered, we discussed my key objectives for a successful resolution of my case. As the discussion continued, her wealth of prior experience was evident. In fact, she already had an established relationship with the opposing party's attorneys, which facilitated communication and significantly improved their responsiveness to my questions/issues. With a lot of hard work on her part, she was able to fully resolve the matter, meeting every objective we outlined in our initial discussion.
She is very personable and approachable, which made a challenging legal situation much more tolerable for me. She was really able to cut through all the clutter and noise in a difficult (and occasionally hostile) situation and achieve great results. I highly recommend Jennifer.

Jennifer handled my situation with great care and guidance. I had a relatively simple landlord/tenant matter but it was difficult to pursue individually. Jennifer quickly and confidently resolved everything that I threw her way.
I spoke to many attorneys but she was the most genuine and I got the feeling that she really cared about helping me.

very smart, hungry (student debt, as it were), and extremely effective. an excellent young lawyer, who knows the statutes and the case law: it's all about the case law.
she pinpointed what exactly was at stake in my case and how exactly to win it — she listened to and indulged, to an extent, my emotional needs — getting kicked out of your home is alway sticky — but then pivoted and told me what the law and lawyering required for us to win ... we did. win.
she is an extremely good writer, and if you know anything about big law firms, you've heard a million big shot, big law lawyers complaining that all of these harvard/yale law grads can't write worth a damn.
the secret for us lay people is that real lawyering is lots and lots of writing ... and jennifer knows how to write, extremely well. that's more than half the battle, right there. like two thirds at least.
she wrote one pre-reply motion ... and ... bam! the other side wanted to settle. she understood the opposition's law firm and new just how to handle them — i'd love to insert my own little rant about them here, but ... you know.
and guess what? she got me all of my fees back. so, she must be a hell of a negotiator too. or, knows how to read the other side (same thing?). that means that she is a transactional lawyer, as well. very handy ability — she's got the bases covered.
this girl (woman, but like i said she's like my age or even younger) is a bad ass. i wish she did other types of law. i would put her on retainer — now that i'm flush with my fees coming back and what not.
to tell you the truth, i feel like i made a buddy. i mean, like i wanna be her friend. set up a puppy play date for the pooches. she's that cool. great hair too.
all around awesome chick, erm, lawyer, with a bad-ass attitude and a skill set to match. choose her. for real. for real.

You always hope you don't need to call on a lawyer but if you do I would definitely contact Jennifer! She is not only knowledgeable and efficient she is kind and caring. I deeply appreciated her handling of my case and concern for my situation. She provided me with options that not only saved me time but also money and I didn't feel like she tried to take advantage of me as a client in desperate need. Jennifer is honest, direct and informative. Qualities I appreciate in a professional. I would recommend if you are ever in need of a tenant legal assistance the first call you make is to Jennifer and no one else!
