James M. Clancy is a partner and head of the Worker's Compensation Department. Mr. Clancy received his undergraduate degree from Lynchburg College in Southern Virginia in 1986 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Delaware School of Law in 1989. Mr. Clancy joined the firm in 1990, concentrating on worker's compensation law, wrongful termination, social security, and public disability pensions and employee rights.
Mr. Clancy was one of the first attorneys awarded the designation of "Certified Worker's Compensation Law Attorney" by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 1998 and was the youngest attorney certified in that field of law. Mr. Clancy is a member of The New Jersey Association for Justice and serves as co-chairman of the Worker's Compensation Committee. In that capacity he is responsible for providing continuing legal education to attorneys through out the State. He is also active in the Burlington and Camden Bar Association Worker's Compensation Committees.
Mr. Clancy has tried many contested cases to conclusion in the Division of Workers Compensation, The Office of Administrative Law and The Superior Court of New Jersey. His legal efforts have resulted in favorable interpretations of law by the NJ Appellate Division regarding discrimination against injured workers.
Mr. Clancy lives in Marlton, New Jersey with his family. He is a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities Dioceses of Trenton and coaches youth sports for the Marlton Recreation Council, the South Jersey Lacrosse Club and Cherokee High School Lacrosse.
I endorse this lawyer. Jim Clancy's knowledge and experience with work injury cases places him at the top of list of all work injury attorneys in New Jersey. I would highly recommend any attorney with a matter to refer to call Jim and discuss the case. He is accessible, always willing to help and a true asset to the legal profession.
