My husband and I contacted Mr. Johnson in Jan ('15) regarding bankruptcy and the entire process was complete by May. Mr. Johnson is professional, direct, informative. The most confusion I felt from this process was the fact that it was entirely easier and smoother than I thought it would be. If either my husband or I came across a person needing bankruptcy information/ representation, I would, without hesitation, refer Mr. Johnson.

Robert is amazing. He gave me many reasons why I didnt need to hire him and told me I would be wasting my money after almost 1 hour on the phone. Like many others had stated on here, he refused to take even a consulting fee! If I ever DO need to spend money, I will go to Robert.

I experienced personal turmoil in deciding whether or not to declare bankruptcy. I agonized over the issue for four months. I was physically sickened by the thought of it. I consistently had feelings of guilt, remorse, failure, and frustration. Despite a stellar and long-term career in education, I felt like a total failure.
I had frequently seen Robert's ad posted in various business establishments around Cherry Hill and Marlton (where I reside). Finally, in September 2014, based solely on a leap-of-faith, and without any referrals, I contacted Robert for a free consultation.
I first met with him in September 2014. I was beyond impressed from the onset. He is professional, honest, compassionate, ethical, and supportive. He astutely counselled me throughout every phase of the process. He immediately responded to email and telephone inquiries. He never made me feel as if I was not an important client. He never minimized my concerns by making my feel foolish, paranoid, and/or ridiculous. To the contrary, he respected me from the onset and always supported me by assuaging my fears and prevalent sense of guilt. He helped me to understand that bankruptcy is a beginning, not an end, to a chapter in my life.
I cannot recommend Robert Johnson highly enough. His guidance, professionalism, and expertise literally sent my life into a new and positive direction. Without the burden of debt with which I had been saddled for decades, I have been able to re-invent my career, no longer depend on credit, and to live comfortably and within my means.
Anyone who wants Robert's assistance must know that he is completely honest and ethical. If a client lies or deceives him, it will only work against the client when his or her bankruptcy case goes before the assigned trustee. Be honest from the beginning and provide Robert with full disclosure. He is not judgmental. He will not demean or degrade you. He will simply tell you the facts and what would work best for you.
It has been my experience during my 62 years of life that the term, "ethical attorney," is often an oxymoron. Robert is an exception. I sincerely wish he handled areas of law beyond bankruptcy because I would always want to defer to his judgment.
My final declaration of bankruptcy arrived on January 16, 2015, almost four months after the process began, which is typical for many petitioners. Robert was with me from start-to-finish. I will forever be grateful to him.

Robert is a very knowledgeable, patient, down-to-earth attorney. He gives you his full attention, and is very understanding. His honesty when discussing what your options are is vital, and explains his position very well. It's clear that he just wants to do the absolute best job he can for you without any fanfare, and that is extremely important when working with an attorney. I can definitely recommend him.

I really lucked out finding such a wonderful attorney to help me with my bankruptcy. It's a hard enough process trying to handle the emotional aspect of bankruptcy, but Mr. Johnson made it so easy for me to get through this. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a trustworthy professional, who will put you at ease.

My husband and I decided to walk away from our home. We met with other lawyers prior to our encounter with Mr. Johnson and we left these other lawyers offices with more questions than when we entered. They demanded money and rushed us out of their offices. Then we met with Mr. Johnson and all I can say is WOW what a difference! Mr. Johnson could not be any more honest with us. He sat with us for 50 minutes and told us point blank filing for chapter 7 or 13 would not be a good option for us (we do not qualify) and to opt for a deed in lieu. We attempted to hire him to help us with the paperwork for the deed in lieu and his response? There is nothing I can do for you that you can't do yourself and it is a waste of money for us to hire him! We stated that we were very appreciative of his honesty because the other lawyers we went to wanted to charge us 3500 dollars. Mr. Johnson volunteered to evaluate our income (with paycheck stubs) at no cost. We insisted he take something monetarily from us and he stated it wouldn't take up much time and refused to take money. He was knowledgeable, honest, and forthright in his answers. He didn't rush us like all the others did and was patient in answering our questions. If you are reading this review and need a lawyer for foreclosure, bankruptcy, or a short sale you would be mistaken not to use Mr. Johnson. If I ever need a lawyer in the future, he will be the first one I call!

We are "Sandy" survivors and are unable to rebuild an apartment within our home due to the FEMA restrictions. The income from this apartment was necessary to carry our mortgage. As a result we are in the foreclosure process and had no idea what our options were. We met with Rob Johnson and he walked us through the process. We know we can call on him at any time as we progress through this difficult time. His knowledge, compassion, patience, and honesty would make any mother proud. We would highly reccomend him to all of our friends and family. We have friends in the real estate business and will ask them to reccomend Rob Johnson to any clients who might find themselves in the same situation as we are in, and can turn to someone that they can trust.
