How We Are Really Different -- At Salvaggio Law Group LLC, we realize that each person’s situation is unique and that you deserve to be educated on all of your options – not just the traditional litigation approach, which will frequently generate higher lawyer’s fees, take longer and cause more conflict than other available ways to attempt to resolve your dispute.
That’s why, at Salvaggio Law Group, you’ll find:
• A client-focused approach, where the client’s needs -- not our profit --comes first.
• The option of an individually customized fee structure, which in the appropriate case will eliminate the uncertainty of hourly billing.
• New Jersey Legal Professionals who will dedicate the time needed to keep you advised every step of the way.
New Jersey Family Law Matters Are All We Do. Because of our singular focus and our experience, we can help you feel more comfortable about where you stand and all of your options.
At Salvaggio Law Group, we handle a limited number of cases at any given time. We don’t take on more than we can manage. Therefore, when a client needs our attention, we have the time to provide what is needed.
The first step is to call the firm. The telephone number is 973-455-1220.
If your case is one that we would consider handling, I will take the time to talk to you personally and, if appropriate, schedule a personal and confidential Assessment in our office.
We really are here to help.

David is a thorough, well respected and knowledgeable attorney whom I have had the pleasure of working with on several occasions. I recently served as an attorney in a family matter where David and his firm successfully tried the matter to conclusion with outstanding results.
Matthew Petracca Litigation Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
David’s comment: “This minor sanction did not involve a Family Law case. In 1999--more than 14 years ago and before my Firm began devoting its practice exclusively to Divorce and Family Law--I unwisely agreed to handle a neighbor's real estate closing. The closing went well, but the neighbor filed a Grievance six (6) years later because my secretary had failed to send her a copy of the Closing Statement. I rectified the oversight as soon as I learned about it.”
This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
David’s comment: “This minor sanction also occurred many, many years ago and did not involve a Family Law case. It arose out of a small collection matter which I had agreed to handle for a former client before I began devoting my Firm's practice exclusively to Divorce and Family Law. The client and I disagreed about the merits of filing the lawsuit. Unfortunately, I did not document that disagreement in writing. Although I had done some work, I refunded the client's Retainer in full.”
