In about 2009 I was ready to give up pursuing my claim for VA benefits. Organizations that provided assistance to veterans discouraged me from pursuing my claim because I didn't serve during wartime. It didn't need to be war time for what happened to me. One day while at the veterans hospital for an appointment I came across an advertizement for Kazmierczak and Kazmierczak a law firm who cares about vets. I was compelled to call and ask for help. I discussed my claim with Carl Kazmierczak and he took on my claim. The years went by with denials, hearings and I wanted to give up. Every time I called the firm somebody on the phone would give me a pep talk and I was ready to continue the fight. In approximately 2011 I asked for help with my Social Security claim. In 2014 I had a favorable decision for social security disability benefits. In 2015 I was awarded my VA benefits. I'm deeply grateful to Karl A. Kazmierczak and the staff for the encouragement and for teaching me how to be an advocate for veterans and any person who needs help and guidance through the tedious path to receive needed help.
