About Me

Born and raised outside New Haven, I now live in Shelton where I enjoy spending time with my son James Patrick.  The name of my firm is Cooper Sevillano, which is located in Bridgeport, where I practice law with my partners Augie Sevillano and Jerry Cooper (also my father).  The focus of our practice involves representing the seriously injured, people who have been harmed as a result of the wrongdoing of others.  I represent clients in a variety of personal injury settings, from very complex medical malpractice and product liability cases to motor vehicle, premises liability, general negligence, municipal liability, civil assault, construction site, nursing home, wrongful death and federal employee railroad injury cases (FELA).  I've seen up close what serious personal injury can do to people and their families.  I also know firsthand just how difficult it can be obtaining full compensation under the law.  I utilize my advocacy and trial skills to help my clients navigate the civil justice system efficiently and effectively, which often times means trying jury cases to verdict in both state and federal courts throughout the state of Connecticut.
