David's reputation as a highly respected litigator is well deserved. He fights hard for his clients and simultaneously maintains the highest ethical standards. He is tenacious, has a broad based knowledge of the law and as a colleague, is a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone to handle their personal injury case.
As a former legal assistant I have first hand knowledge of the expertise and knowledge that this attorney has exhibited. Not only have I seen him bring cases to trial with favorable outcomes that other attorneys surely would have turned away, he has personally represented me in various legal situations. He took on a difficult dental malpractice case for me with a plaintiff's verdict as well as a motor vehicle case. He represented my father's estate on a wrongful death/medical malpractice and many other family and friends for various reasons. He is a very caring and compassionate person who not only takes the facts of a case but looks at a situation on a personal level. I highly recommend this attorney. Look no further!
I am a registered nurse who was injured many years ago in a motor vehicle accident. Although I had known David at the time, I did not realize he was a personal injury attorney and on the advice of another nurse, initially brought my case to a different attorney. After two years that attorney told me that the insurance company was offering me $7,500.00 and that I should take it. Since I had neck and back pain on a daily basis that interfered with my job as well as activities at home, I did not feel that this was sufficient to compensate me, as I feared becoming permanently disabled from work at some point in the future. I felt pressured to settle and so I sought out other attorneys. I spoke to David who believed that my case should be worth significantly more and that he would do whatever he could to get me the best offer possible. After completely reworking the case, he took it to trial and incurred substancial expense to bring in the testimony of all of my doctors. After increasing their offer each day of the trial the insurance company finally offered $300,000.00 and we settled the case. Obviously, I was thrilled that I received this settlement, given the opinion of my first attorney, but I was particularly impressed by the way David displayed immediate confidence in my claim and then made the result happen through sheer effort and compassion. I would highly recommend this attorney not only for his professionalism and expertise but also for his sincere compassion extended to me during a very difficult time of my life.
My husband and I are both research scientists, were employed full time and as a result had to place our then 2 year old child in daycare, where she lost the tip of her finger. None of the defendants was willing to compensate our daughter a reasonable amount until the matter went to the first trial, when 2 of the 3 defendant’s settled. After an appeal was taken from the first verdict, we had a second trial against the last defendant and Mr. Schoen obtained a jury verdict in our daughter’s favor of $450,000. Having spent every day during the 2 trials with Mr. Schoen as well as meeting with him numerous times to discuss our concerns, we were enormously impressed by not only his tremendous skills as an attorney, but his persistence, will to win, tireless efforts as well as his personal concern for our daughter’s well-being and desire to get her the best result possible, regardless of the amount of time, money and risk it took to achieve this result. We cannot recommend Mr. Schoen highly enough.
I feel Mr. Schoen is qualified beyond those self proclaimed top in their field. He is not merely a lawyer, but also a human being. He is direct and realistic. But he is also capable of listening, acquiring details, and most importantly possessive of the knowledge necessary to use the information you provide. He is completely confidential and unafraid to hear your story. Unfortunately he resides in VT, and -upon hearing and comprehending the disparities involve-continued to attempt help; to the point when even at a time during which it seemed nothing could be done, merely knowing he'd re-instated some of my faith in the humanitarianism of the law. Definitely consider Schoen - he is one in hundreds of thousands with both the capacity to win your case, but the soul to appreciate your thankfulness.
I am a Chiropractor and over the past 32 years have worked closely with David Schoen on many cases. He is an excellent attorney with tremendous experience in the courtroom. I have seen him in action many times and rest assure that your case will be handled with the utmost professionalism. On a personal note he has also represented myself on several matters with a positive end result. In the future if I have any legal questions he will be on the top of my list to ask for advice. Great guy with tremendous moral character.
I have know David Schoen for many years, He is an excellent attorney, he will handle all of your needs during the handling of your case. he has had 2 cases of mine and I am very pleased with his work ethics and performance on getting things done. I have recommended him to many clients and family members and everyone was more than pleased . Would definitely recommend his services to others.
Mr. Schoen successfully handled a personal injury case for my son, a minor at the time, several years ago. The case was unusual, and required a high degree of sensitivity to adolescent issues. Mr. Schoen was diligent in his information gathering, knowledgeable of the law, and patient and compassionate towards his client (my son). I would use his services again if necessary, and recommend him without hesitation.
